The mudeye is the nymph stage of the dragonfly. These imitations are mad from deer hair and a foam body which helps them float. You simply cast them out and then with short retrieves of about an inch or 2 and then a pause and repeat. It should take long until you get a vicious strike. They can be used at any time of the day, from midgeing fish to daytime cruisers and to the evenings around the trees. Tie on one.
